The Calvinistic Methodist chapel is usually known as Capel Rhosydd
but sometimes referred to as the Gorlan (sheepfold) Chapel.
It was built in 1867 and also used as a school for quarry
family children. It was last used in the 1920s according to
one Rhosydd Quarry publication but a former landowner tells me
that he attended a one-off service in the chapel in 1946 or 47.
