'Field for the British Isles' is one of Antony Gormley's most famous works.
It consists of 40,000 hand sized terracotta figures made in September 1993
by children and families connected to 2 schools in St. Helens (Lancashire).
This sculpture is one of several 'Fields' - others having been made by local
communities in Mexico, South America and Sweden.
